“Tiny, Thorny Battles” delves into the intricate complexities of the human mind. A progression on the sister artwork, “Battles of the Mind”,  we are presented with an array of jagged edges, symbolizing the pains and pangs that invade the privacy of our conscious and subconscious minds every day.   The thistles, with their prickly texture, represent the obstacles we encounter in our individual daily battles. Through the juxtaposition of sharp and jagged elements against a smoothly blended background, Ernest Agoba captures the complexity of the human experience.
