Light in the Tunnel
This painting connotes the search by man for light and panacea to troubles in his world. In the course of this search, the beginnings are occasioned by anxieties and circumspection. This is so today as man is seen following every route possible to seeking answers to inscrutable issues of life. In many of the world’s religions, light signifies salvation from the darkness of sin. People believe that letting their light of faith shine in a dark world can bring about positive changes. The painting is grouped in two of my art themes, “A Cry for Help” and “A Tale of Light and Dark“
