A Thin White Thread

“A Thin White Thread”. It measures, 70 inches (177 cm) x 24 inches (61cm). This work expresses the pressures our burdens and troubles put on the threads that sustain us from falling. Many people in our world today are hanging, hopelessly clinging onto life, believing for some succor. Even when their spirits are broken and chipped out, oftentimes, a thin delicate thread still holds them from falling. This oil painting is part of an exhibition titled, “A Cry for Help” by Ernest Obukx Agoba. Artwork belongs to my art theme, “A Cry for help“
